Banana Chips are healthy alternative to potato chips.
They are tasty and can make you less guilty of eating them!
People take them during fasts, as snacks and trust us your kids will also love them too.
They make a perfect chai time snack and also are a good choice for your kids tiffin box.
We give you a quick and very easy recipe to make crisp banana chips at home.
INGREDIENTS -
1. Raw Banana (peeled)
2. Oil
3. Black pepper
4. Salt water solution (dissolve 1 tbsp salt in water)
PROCEDURE -
1. Peel the raw banana using a knife and meanwhile heat oil in kadhai.
2. Use chip grater and directly grate the chip into hot oil, carefully (sim the stove while grating)
3. Add some salt solution in the kadhai (the oil would splutter, be very careful). Adding water while frying the chips will add the required salty flavor and make them tasty (ensure that you reduce the amount of salt solution after each iteration)
4. Fry the chip of medium flame until you see change in color.
5. Once done, sprinkle black pepper powder and serve. You can store them in a air tight container, ensure you do not close the lid when they are still hot.
